Sacramento, CA – Today, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the formation of an inaugural committee to oversee the swearing-in ceremony and formal activities in conjunction with Governor Schwarzenegger's first and only formal inauguration.

Marty Wilson will serve as chairman of the Governor's 2007 Inaugural Committee. Joining him are Committee Executive Director Reed Galen and Executive Producer Carl Bendix.

"Governor Schwarzenegger looks forward to serving the people of California for four more years," Galen said. "The Governor will use this important occasion to further the spirit of bipartisan cooperation in Sacramento and continue with his vision of moving California forward."

The inaugural ceremony will be held at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento at 11 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2007.

The Governor's 2007 Inaugural Committee is a 501(c)(4) organization.
